Where Is Waldo/Man's Influence?

Take a look at this image from Icecap.us and see if you can spot man's influence on global CO2 levels.

The green line represents the CO2 levels. See if you can spot the drastic reduction in industrial output as a result of the deep and lengthy global recession. Can you spot the drop in CO2 as a result of the 2008 oil crisis? What about the drop as a result of reduced commercial aviation capacity over the last 2 years?

Amazing isn't it? It is as if those things didn't matter one bit. The trend continued just as if all of our activities had absolutely no impact.

OK, it is not man caused, but still rising to a level which will change the weather and surface temps. Outside of the solar system we are encountering higher energy streams as we close on the galactic ecliptic, so does this mean that even though we are not causing it we are still going to suffer the effects?

That is assuming that the rising CO2 levels are causing temperature change instead of rising CO2 levels were the result of temperature change. History proves that CO2 changes lag behind temperature changes. So it may be that in the not to distant future the CO2 levels start to decline.
