Ice Age By 2012?
The year 2012 keeps coming up for some reason. Here is another story that brings up 2012.

Since the 105,000 cycle is overdue, the freeze can be real severe by 2012 and beyond. Some Geologists believe that global warming is causing the freeze because of manipulation of warm ocean currents and streams. The manipulation has occurred for many reasons. Global warming from human civilization is one reason. But much more serious is the cyclical increase in under ocean volcanoes and stretched geysers over miles. Such an eruption has recently been discovered in Indian Ocean stretching 45 miles releasing superheated steam to 750 degree F.

There definately seems to be something to this story. If you look at the way the climate has changed in just the past 6 years you can only imagine how it will be in 6 more years (2012).
It could all be a coincidence. But you have two cycles that are coming to a head. You have rapidly changing climate right now. And that 2012 number popping up again. Lets just say I would pay very close attention to what is happening. Maybe there isn't a train coming. But if you are walking along the tracks and you hear a horn in the distance you certainly look over your shoulder to see what is coming. If you don't pay attention you could get run over.

Hrmm, let me think..
It has happened in the past, and will continue to happen regardless of whether humans are here or not. An ice age has been survivable in the past although our genetics show a bottleneck in the population, either due to an asteroid, a supervolcanic eruption, or other cataclysmic event. All those do result in ice ages by blocking the sun and cooling the planet. Lets say now that things are made 10 x's worse by global warming and humans disturbing the fragile balance nature has set up.
Suppose this cycle around the sun starts another ice age and now that humans have scortched the earth with carbon emissions the effects will be 10 fold a normal ice age. Do I see the planet ending in 2012 as the Mayan calender stops there? The bible code predicts it? Many great philosophers also state that year we are doomed, and its been brought up here more then once. I believe by 2012 there will be humans. But not all that are here today. Dare I say billions will be killed? I have absolutely no idea. I know the planet is geared up for a major event, and humans will die. Life as we know it will change. The strong will survive, the weak shall perish. |

I've come to believe 2012 will be big for many different reasons.
There are - without a doubt - many signs that point to this, and
several Large cycles should end/begin around this time.

When I first read about the Mayan calendar end date of 2012, I just knew something big would happen. At the time (early 70's!) I was mid-teen and my 1st guess was that the 'mother ship' would land...
anyway-
I'm certain most of you have noticed or heard much about "11:11", well if you follow the link to the Naval Observatory site and scroll 2/3 down the page you'll notice that the Winter Solstice of 2012 begins EXACTLY at 11:11. hmmmm
so - 12 / 21 / 12 11:11 seems more and more like a very important date and time, don't ya think?

that 11% of the population has that 'code' for their mtDNA...

In 2012 the plane of our Solar System will line up exactly with
the plane of our Galaxy, the Milky Way. This cycle has taken
26,000 years to complete.
The auspicious year of 2012 indicated in the long count
