Global Warming - Man Made, Natural, Nonexistent?
What is your take on global warming? Is it...
Man made?
Natural?
Nonexistent?
There is no right or wrong answer to this. I have a challenge. I will state what the challenge is when everyone has chimed in. There is no opinion allowed in this thread on the subject. Just state your answer and move on. I'll give it a couple of days. You can vote in the poll and not participate in what I've got up my sleeve or you can post a one line response with your answer to put your name in the hat.
Again.. no right or wrong answer. No bashing allowed.

Well... looking at the vote I guess I have to scrap my idea lol. I was hoping for a broader opinion base.

I think for a lot of people that's true, but a lot of people are still 100% sure that what they've been told is true, and the Pol's don't want to give it up for whatever reason.
Most people I know personally are realizing it's been natural, and believe it's starting to cool off, the people who don't (a couple coworkers) are the super green liberal types who disagree with anything that's "republican/conservative" and state popular ultra-liberal opinion as gospel. Everyone else I know is on the "sun did it" band wagon.
Did I ever say how much I hate it whe people latch on to the mainstream ultra-Liberal or ultra-Conservative beliefs and refuse to listen to anything else, even when it's staring them in face? |

Well here is what I was wanting to do. I was wanting those who believe GW is natural to do a small research report/post/story on how GW either doesn't exist or is caused by man. Likewise if you think man is responsible I was wanting you to create one stating that GW is natural or doesn't exist. And you can guess what options I had if you didn't believe GW existed at all.
The reasoning behind this was to get people to think outside of what they believe is currently the truth. I want people to learn to be open minded and understand there is more than one side to every story. But with everyone picking the same thing it kind of makes this pointless. I wanted people with one belief to review the work of someone with another belief.

You forgot one, extraterrestrials preparing the world for a take over. They need it to be about 20 degrees warmer, so they took over GM and Ford many years ago, with the intent of causing the earth to heat up rapidly.

natural (but man isn't helping the situation)
The two best articles I have found so far are both in Wikipedia and are at the top right of the following page:

Gotta read this book!
Has anyone read the new book Black and White: An Account of the Root Cause and His Impact on the Universe? For years I have studied climate change, and have come to the conclusion that the instantaneous changes in the jet stream, peculiar cloud formations, weather fronts that defy meteorological logic and drastic daily changes in temperature are caused by something that few know about, and do not discuss.
You can preview Black and White in the eBook form, or you can order the paper back copy at Amazon.com. The specific web address where you can find out more information is www.wix.com/lavay123/black-and-white. As far as extreme weather is concerned, it makes for good reading. |

Already stated elsewhere, but I think it is a natural cycle of weather due to the timing of the major gas planet synodic conjunctions moving thru the summer months for the past decade and now moving on into the fall months.
Shifts toward wetter winters, snowier falls, more snowmobile usage per year, and an increase in rainfall in the lee of the rockies, on the western side of the great plains, like we have seen so far this spring.
The CO2 levels have not changed the temperature as much as the warmer oceans have raised the due point of the air masses that come in off the west coast and over Mexico into the Gulf areas. Resulting in increased rain fall amounts in normally dry areas. |
