How "Global Warming" Was Created
One of my favorite sites to visit is icecap.us. When visiting the site I was shocked to learn that NOAA had the round ones to come out and say June 2009 was the 2nd warmest on record. Where? Mars? Certainly not on earth. Unbiased satellite data shows the global temperatures almost at normal. According to RSS the departure from normal globally was +0.075. Less than one tenth of a degree.
What is NOAA doing? God only knows but what I do know based on their own information is that over the last 50 years they have modified raw surface temperature data and added 1/2 of a degree F. There is your imaginary Global Warming right there. The "professionals" have doctored the data and have slowly been padding the number year after year since 1950 to the point that temperatures appear half a degree warmer. Which just isn't true. I'll post the image at the bottom of this post. It comes right from a .gov website and is a NOAA product. That chart sure looks a great deal like the global warming graphs we've been shown.
NOAA is telling us June 2009 was the 2nd warmest on record. If you watch the news you'll know the stories from around the world don't support the claim. If you watch weather forecasts you'll know that only very small areas have been warm. Icecap.us makes a great observation...

Also they in the last year made changes to the ocean temperature data base removing the satellite data that they claimed was giving a cold bias to the data.

The Icecap.us site also has 2 images on there that show temperature anomalies for the globe. What is interesting is how NOAA fudged the sea surface temps. I'll add those images later in this thread as well. There are significant cold pockets as indicated by Unisys but NOAA shows them as warmer than normal.
Does it all make sense now? Does it make sense why CO2 levels continue to increase and satellite readings show declining temperatures? Because what we've been told was warming in the past wasn't even real. It was nothing but a massive misinformation campaign by people who had careers and reputations to protect.
Note: Full credit for the idea behind this story goes to the writers at icecap.us. You really need to read their site. Their work unravels this so much more than my interpretation of the events.

Here is what NOAA claims is the truth about global temperature anomalies based on their doctored data. Note the sea surface temperature anomalies.

And here is the image from unisys.com. Notice their SST anomaly map tells a completely different picture. Granted the NOAA map is a monthly map where the Unisys one is a daily snapshot. Feel free to look at a couple older images. They tell the same story.

Remember who Hansen works for. Remember who was screaming about being censored.
