But 190 billion leveraged ten times is? You guessed it 19 trillion dollars, more than we have, and it won't take much of this crap to sink this ship of state. No money what the hell do we need government for? In reality what the hell do we need government for anyway? They can't run a BBQ much less a country. Geez for supposedly bright people they couldn't buy a clue.
As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

A major research institution has recently announced the discovery of the heaviest element yet known to science.
The newly identified element has been named "governmentium".
Governmentium has 1 neutron, 12 deputy neutrons, 75 assistant neutrons, and 224 deputy assistant neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312.
These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons. Since governmentium has no protons or electrons, it is inert.
However, it can be detected, because it impedes every action with which it comes into contact. A minute amount of governmentium causes a reaction to take 4 days to complete, when it would normally take less than a second.
Governmentium has a normal half-life of 4 years. It does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons merely exchange places. In fact, governmentium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes.
This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to believe that governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a certain quantity in concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as "Critical Morass."
When catalyzed with money, governmentium becomes administratium, an element that radiates just as much energy as governmentium since it has half as many peons, but twice as many morons.

WaMu Swaps Auction Sets Payout of 43 Cents on Dollar
| Quote From Source: | Oct. 23 (Bloomberg) -- Sellers of credit-default swaps protecting against a default by bankrupt Washington Mutual Inc. will pay 43 cents on the dollar after the biggest bank failure in U.S. history.
An auction held among 14 dealers today set a value of 57 cents on the dollar for WaMu senior bonds, less than the 63.6 cents after the first round and lower than where the bonds were trading yesterday. The auction determines how much investors who bought default protection in the credit-default swaps market can claim.
Prices on WaMu bonds due in January fell 6.6 cents on the dollar to 58.9 cents, according to Trace, the bond price- reporting system of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Investors should consider buying WaMu bonds because they're likely to recover more in bankruptcy, said Kevin Starke, an analyst with CRT Capital Group LLC in Stamford, Connecticut.
''What matters is what your ultimate recovery is going to be, and that's determined in court,'' Starke said. ''We're thinking the recovery is going to be a lot higher.''

Retailers' default swaps trade at distressed levels
| Quote From Source: | NEW YORK, Oct 24 (Reuters) - Credit default swaps on several retailers traded at an upfront cost on Friday, reflecting increased concerns about their health amid growing signs of a severe global recession.
Retailers are being hit particularly hard as investors fret they are facing an especially weak holiday shopping season.
The cost to insure the debt of Liz Claiborne Inc. for five years leaped to 14.37 percent the sum insured, and additional annual premiums of 5 percent, according to Markit Intraday.
That means it would cost $1.44 million paid in a lump sum to insure $10 million of the fashion retailer's debt for five years, plus yearly payments of $500,000.
