Brett the Jet
somethings oddly familiar about this pic ....
| Quote From Source: | New York Jets' quarterback Brett Favre (4) celebrates a touchdown pass to tightend Dustin Keller during the first quarter of their National Football League preseason game against the Washington Redskins in East Rutherford, New Jersey, August 16, 2008.

Brett should have stayed retired. There is just something wrong about this.

Meh, he can do whatever he wants to do. I can careless, just wish people would stop talking about it. It's not that damn important.
Though, I must say. If someone offered me $20 million dollars to sit on my ass, I'd take it!

Favre's 6 TDs lead Jets past Cardinals 56-35
| Quote From Source: | Brett Favre set a career high and tied Joe Namath's Jets mark with six touchdown passes...
Namath threw six TD passes in a 44-34 win at Baltimore in 1972. … Favre had thrown as many as five TD passes three previous times, but none since 1998. …

There is still something wrong with it. He is a Packer and should have retired and stay retired as a Packer.

| Quote From Source: | Brett Favre and the New York Jets stand alone atop the tight AFC East standings...
The win broke a tie for the division lead between the teams and gave the Jets (7-3) sole possession of first place for the first time since Nov. 19, 2001. The Patriots (6-4) have won the AFC East the last five seasons and six of the last seven.
Favre made his 263rd consecutive regular-season start, an NFL record, and went 26-of-33 for 258 yards and, on the only drive of overtime, marched the Jets 64 yards on 14 plays in 7:50.

I still think Brett should have stayed retired. He should have either stayed a Packer or stayed retired. It is wrong seeing him in another jersey.

I said the day I heard of the trade, the Jets will win more games than the Packers this year... many were doubters...
Current records
Jets 8-3 1st place in Division
Pack 5-6 3rd place in Division
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/...Aje8EEAp0G5nnJSVLS.d994isLYF
It's even more impressive when you consider the team positions from last year...
Pack - 13-3 Division Winner
Jets - 4-12 ... well, uhm, good draft choices |
