China's Bao world's tallest man - again

Quote From Source:
Guinness World Records has returned the title of world's tallest man to China's Bao Xishun after Ukrainian Leonid Stadnyk refused to be measured under new guidelines.

Bao, who stands at 7 feet, 8.95 inches, held the title for a year before losing it in 2006 to Stadnyk, who is 8 feet 5.5 inches tall, Craig Glenday, editor-in-chief of Guinness World Records, told Reuters.

Bao hires himself out for publicity stunts and his wedding last year was sponsored by at least 15 companies. In December 2006, Bao saved the lives of two dolphins by reaching deep into their stomachs with his 3.47-foot (1.06-metre) long arm to pull out pieces of plastic, according to Chinese media.

that dolphin story is apparently true ...
Quote From Source:
Veterinarians said they decided to call for help from Bao Xishun, a 7-foot-9-inch herdsman from Inner Mongolia, according to Chinese state media.

Photos from the scene show Bao reaching his arm, which is more than one metre long, inside one of the dolphins, which has a towel wrapped around its jaw so it can't bite.

I don't know why the other guy won't get measured. Holy hell. Look at these pics.

However I think this pic may reveal why he won't get measured. For the claim to be true that would have to be a 9' ceiling and one huge door.

His height is likely overstated by 1 foot. He is no doubt tall but I don't think he's 8'5something.

He should come to America and be a Pro-wrestler, if he did it
for 1 year he could buy his entire village.
