Well, I'm a dad

At 12:56 pm on August 11th, 2005 my son was born. I'm a happy dad, and proud. :D He was 4 weeks early and surprised us all, but he's a keeper.

He's 5lbs, 13oz., 18 inches long. Had to spend a couple of days in NICU (neo natal intensive care...just couldnt get them little lungs breathing right) but he's o.k now and we got home today after 4 1/2 long days at the hospital.

All I can say is wow, I love him.

LOL, ummm I could lie...But everytime I look at him I must admit it's worth any trouble I have to go through for him. Didnt know it was possible to love something so much. I didnt sleep for 45 hours straight when they had him in NICU. I was beside myself with fear and worry. He only gets up a couple of times a night, we feed him, change his diaper and he goes back to sleep. Since he's four weeks early I expect anything. I cant keep away from him or my eyes off of him. Guess I'm a proud first time dad...dunno. Maybe I'm just crazy. Either way I'm up for anything he needs. Night or day

Becoming a parent changes everyone, for the better I'd say, but particularly for a male.
congrats dude - nothing like parenthood.
