Satellite Images
I've nearly completed a new feature for the site. You'll notice a new option in the menu to the left "Satellite Images".

This system is building an archive of 81 different satellite feeds. I will be organizing a page that allows you to view any of the archives which will include an extensive set of images from the tropics. The images update every 30 minutes. The images won't age off so you can eventually build huge satellite loops.
If you have any suggestions for this please let me know.

Ok I've updated the "Satellite Images". It will allow you to view the last 20 images from each of the 81 feeds. I will add additional features like an archive searching tool that will allow you to view any image in the database going back to the point I started archiving which happens to be today. I'll see if I can find a good java applet for creating satellite loops.

Satellite Feeds are now up to 96. Does anyone know of any good public domain European feeds? Something From South America would be good as well.

We are now up to 114 sets of images. I wont add any others until I get a European set. Added to the collection was some GOES West Central Pacific and GOES East Eastern Pacific sets as well as the 3rd storm floater.

I have added image loop downloading to the loop page for each satellite feed.
