I think things have leveled off a bit now. The temperature is only dropping slowly now. It is down to 13.8. It is 41.6 off of the evening high of 55.4. Question is will the total 24 hour drop his 50 degrees. The temperature drop in St. Louis is at 58 degrees from the high.

Yes it will warm up. I think the forecast calls for temperatures to really rebound in 5 to 7 days but not before a major storm moves through the Ohio Valley. We may be looking at the biggest snow of the season for us.

Wild Weather: 50 To 0 In A Matter Of Hours
| Quote From Source: | CHICAGO (CBS) ― Whether you are driving, riding the bus, taking the train or hailing a cab, it's a must to bundle up and leave plenty of extra time to get to work, with snow on the ground and temperatures 40 to 50 degrees lower than they were 24 hours ago.
As CBS 2's Rafael Romo reports, any way you slice it, it is ugly outside as winter makes its presence felt again.
At this time on Tuesday morning, you could walk out the door with a light jacket and feel perfectly comfortable. Temperatures ranged from 47 to 50 degrees – conditions more befitting of late March or early April.
But as predicted, in blew a winter storm that began with whipping, blowing snow, followed by a drop of nearly 50 degrees in a matter of hours.

| Quote From Source: | In Idaho, which has been besieged by snow in recent days, the weather isn't expected to let up anytime soon. National Weather Service meteorologist John Livingston said a snowstorm was expected to blow through on Saturday and Sunday, with cold predicted to stretch at least through the middle of next week.
Officials in Kootenai County in northern Idaho declared a state of emergency as roofs collapsed, roads became impassable and senior citizens were stranded because of the repeated snowstorms.
"You can only stack the snow so high, and we're running out of places to put it," said Rick Carrie, county commissioner.

Our snow storm last night was a massive bust. Out of the predicted 6 to 10 inches of snow I think we got about half an inch.
