If there's any of you that have been missing cool temps, there's relief on the way. Looking into my crystal ball, I see some chilly, snow enhanced cool Canadian air pushing southward around 3/26 - 3/28. And yes, it will make it down to the DFW area and spread east from there.

Winter can blow me. lol. I'm ready for spring. I'm ready to put down my spring lawn treatment. I'm ready to clean my grill. Mother nature has other ideas.

Well, I'll be ready. Should make some terrific storms. I have my cameras ready and ready to go. I'm not into storm chasing, sounds like they will come to me though.

They should take the warning labels off of everything and let stupidity sort itself out.

Probably not.....looks like it will be an east-of-the-Rockies
event. Toward mid April, there should be more precip. in the form of snow. There sure won't be any grumbling about not enough drinking water for this summer!

does that mid april storm look fairly big at this point or can u tell? can u tell if its coming in from the north or south? systems that come with a northwest windflow give us nothing. red mountain just north of us sucks all the moisture out in the rain/snow shadow affect. we get absolutely nothing. storms with southwest windflow over the four corners give us good chances for measurable precip do to forced lifting of the mountains.

yeah, we still have plenty of snowpack up in the mountains but im just greedy when it comes to wanting more snow.

Mid April in my opinion is too far out to predict storm size. I think the best you can come up with a month out is pattern flow. Where are the storms coming from? Pacific? Arctic? etc etc etc You know certain patterns tend to bring certain types of weather.
