Next Week

After a record setting (high temp was 79) Saturday, we're back in a cool and wet pattern. Temps in the next 4 days should be in the low to mid 50s. But by Friday, 48 is my forecast high with a low of 33. Then on Saturday, I have a forecast high of 43 and a low of 33, Sunday is 45/37. On Saturday and Sunday, there is a rain/snow mix forecast for me...at 200 feet above sea level...in late April.

I hope I don't get graupel like I did a couple weeks ago.

Graupel:

Quote From Source:
Graupel is that Styrofoam ball type of snow that stings your face when it falls from the sky. It forms from strong convective activity within a storm (upward vertical motion) caused by the passage of a cold front or springtime convective showers. The static buildup from all these falling graupel pellets sometimes cause lightning as well.

Interesting ...I had to look it up.

I thought it was a climbing tool, ......or that black plastic cone shaped thing the doctor puts on the end of that light-up thing that he sticks into your ear.

Man, are we going to have significant snow sitting in the foothills (1500-4500 ft) through the summer? At this rate...yes. :bouncing:
