Thank you Indy.
I will miss him as well. He was a household name. I feel for his wife and children. He was such a positive image and did so much good for so many animals. He will be dearly missed.
When I first read of his death I feared a croc attack. But a stingray? One of the last animals I would have ever guessed to kill such a wonderful man. This is a sad day.

A great conservation superman and he was the sort of person that every kid wanted as a father.

My deepest condolences to the Irwin family, especially little Bindy.
| Quote From Source: | 'I love my daddy' - Bindy _The Daily Telegraph
In Irwin's last magazine interview, Bindi told the September edition of marie claire in it's Father's Day special just how much her dad meant to her: "I love that he's funny, he's entertaining and he's always there when I need him most.
"I'm proud to have a dad like that, who takes on conservation issues around the world.
"I love him very, very much."

Steve Irwin waves from Croc One while leaving Port Douglas on his last expedition on Friday.
Here's one best articles about Irwin I have read today:
| Quote From Source: | Committed to lore of nature -The Australian
"The Croc Hunter's about wildlife, conservation, saving wilderness areas, jumping on crocs, it's all about very positive things," he said. "And I firmly believe our success is not only helping wilderness and wildlife, it's helping humanity. The Croc Hunter's all about saving the world, it really is."

Steve Irwin will be missed. I wanted to say that his death was tragic, but in reality it's not a tragedy because Steve died doing what he loved. If he had died in a car accident or a plane crash, I would say it was tragic, however in this case, I can only say that his time had come. He has made a lasting impression on people all around the world and he has inspired many young minds and turned them on animals like no one else could.
My condolences to the friends and family of Steve Irwin. |
