Gore announces global warming effort

Looks like we're in for a real treat.......and a little bit of brain washing. What's sad is that some people will fall for it.

After this winter it is nothing more than pure desperation. You can see it almost daily now. He and his believers are scrambling.

Most (50%-60%?; just guessing) of the believers are young (18-40), naive folk. Lots of them around here, the Seattle area, and the bay area in California. Everyday I see at least 3 or 4 Priuses on the road. :borg:

Now, I'm sure different people may have different motives for buying those cars but predominantly they are the kind of people that pat themselves on the shoulder for "helping" save the planet...as if its destiny were in the hands of our species. :gah:

I like that smiley. :gah:

Hey, I'm twice as old as the group of "kids" you are referring to ... I live in the SF Bay Area, and yes I drive a Prius ... but it's for the gas mileage (45 mpg), not for GW. Come on ... lighten up!

I'd drive one if I could afford it.

its called a dual-sport motorcycle...goes more places than a 4wd & gets 50MPG. I just finished converting my 1996 XR-250 to be street legal, but wouldn't you know it, it friggin snowed this morning here in northen Utah....not good bike weather. I hope global warming kicks in so I can use it before summer.

yeah, we get too much snow here to have a bike plus getting a bike is a big investment in itself.
