Prince Charles: Eighteen months to stop climate change disaster
| Quote From Source: | The Prince of Wales has warned that the world faces a series of natural disasters within 18 months unless urgent action is taken to save the rainforests.
In one of his most out-spoken interventions in the climate change debate, he said a £15 billion annual programme was required to halt deforestation or the world would have to live with the dire consequences.
"We will end up seeing more drought and starvation on a grand scale. Weather patterns will become even more terrifying and there will be less and less rainfall," he said.

They should take the warning labels off of everything and let stupidity sort itself out.

I'd say it would be safe to guess this. I mean anything is bound to happen in 18 months. Another typhoon/cyclone or hurricane, another quake, or flood.
Yes I said quake. See when things get warmer, they expand. So as we heat our planet, the crust is reacting to our global warming and is causing these quakes right? Well at least that is what they are going to say.
Just take any natural disaster in the next 18 mos and then the prince of Wales can step up and say "See, I told you so".
Right..now get a day job.

regardless of his reasoning behind it, saving the rain forest is a good place to put money. |
