Just stumbled on this over at the ICECAP website. It's not "news" per se, and especially not to the readers here, but it's coming. We've already seen some of this, but when if this winter hits as expected, and AGW's public perception starts to go down in a hail of bullets, I fully expect that kind of propaganda. I wouldn't be surprised if Greenpeace and co try to spin the cooling as being caused by Global Warming.
I've never read the site, and the blogger seems like many other conspiracy theory whack jobs, but the message is dead on. |

With that out you'll see a number of GW studies or scare stories hitting the news. I'm sure we'll hear how the Arctic sea ice extent was at its 2nd lowest point ever (since 1979) and how Polar Bears are dying and how we need to do something right now. They'll try and shove it down our throats to get a rush to judgement. Because once the temps start going down more people are just going to tell them to shut up and the checks are going to slow flowing to them. So they need panic mode and they need it now or they are doomed. Careers are going to go up in flames with this.
