U.S. Releasing 380,000 Barrels From Reserves
According to a CNN.com story the U.S. is releasing 380,000 barrels of oil from the strategic reserves to two companies. I hope this means they have been sold and not given to these companies. That to me would be the ultimate theft. The oil was purchased using tax dollars. Whoever gets this oil should pay back what was paid for the oil.

What do you think? I'm leaning towards this being given to the oil companies. I mean that is par for the course these days. Take from the people and give to big business.

Oil is falling like a rock. Down to almost $100/barrel now. This makes no sense. |

I'm thinking it will go below 100, perhaps to 85 After that I have no idea. It may start a new march to 150. I think I know why they released the oil.
They are still putting out record capacity over seas but they cannot get it over here because of IKE hitting Houston and the LOOP is closed for a day or so. No offloading at the ports either.
They should take the warning labels off of everything and let stupidity sort itself out.
