Solar power goes mainstream
| Quote From Source: |
We have been told for years how great solar power is. But one thing has been missing from the equation - the solar panels themselves.
Not any more, in the UK at least. Domestic solar power is finally a mainstream consumer prospect as Currys, one of the nation's electrical chainstores, is to start selling panels for the home alongside its normal fare.
An average three-bedroom house will need nine roof-mounted solar panels costing about £9000, Currys says. This compares with £16,000 from the specialist suppliers who have cornered the market to date, according to calculations from the Financial Times (paid sub required, I'm afraid).

Solar power is the future.
I think nuclear energy steals investments from the future.
Photovoltaic in the cities is the most ecological solution instead of invading territories of natural importance with huge constructions.
A european scientifical report about this energy sources and its developments fopund in this site>:

Technology is making great steps in the advance of this technology.
Imagine all the rooftops of dveloped countries cities covered with photovoltaic cells

photovoltaic roof tiles/shigles are the most innovative solution.
