The solar stocks I watch daily are....(any bit of good news or big contract and these suckers go up. LDK is way overextended and I expect it to drop 15-20 bucks over the next few days as well as Jaso...although not as much of a drop, it will probably go down. )
FSLR, STP, SPWR, JASO, LDK, ASTI, ESLR, CSIQ, SOLF, YGE, EMKR, CSUN, and WFR.
FSLR is by far the most exspensive. STP is probably the best in the group.
EMKR, CSUN, ESLR, and ASTI can still be had for under 20.00... and could prove to be very profitable in the future.
The big movers for making money would be SOLF and YGE. FSLR goes up and down 20-30 dollars every week. Seems like its up 13 one day and down 20 the next then up 13 the next two days. Catch this stock when its way down and ride it back up. If it went up a bunch..stay away. SOLF and YGE appear to be going down, once they hit bottom they would be good buys.
All the solars got their butt kicked today. This was the leading industry for 2007 and are up 300% from Jan.
This is not a good sign. We are heading for a BEAR (Down) market.
Time to look at stocks like Gamestop (GME) and Best Buy (BBY).
They should take the warning labels off of everything and let stupidity sort itself out.
