Solars stage a comeback

Well after a 50% drop on most and over 60%-70% drop on many others, it appears this sector is now headed for a rebound after First Solar (FSLR) the industry group leader posted awesome earnings that were well beyond what anybody expected. This group may be reviving.

I'm not saying buy anything, I'm not, but other sure are. Just watch the earnings of each and every company and choose those that have a positive cash flow. If they have a negative -EPS, you may want to move on.

STP is looking pretty good and cheap right now, as well as SOLF, and YGE. Don't forget those that make the actual material these companies use such as WFR and AMAT. WFR is looking really good at this point.

FSLR is way too high for me and it is still trading above earnings. After this morning the run up on it may cause it to fall much harder in the future.

It will be interesting to watch this stock (FSLR). There are firms out there that own millions of shares of this that are holding onto it. They may choose to dump it as they search for new investments and today would be a great day to get out on top. I wouldn't buy into this one just yet. I'd give it a couple of weeks.

I'd be careful today as well. You may have to sell in a hurry....Ben Bernanke is speaking today and that could whip this market in either direction.

Yingli YGE

YGE just became the most oversold solar stock I have seen to date. Might be a good time to get into it.

hey fatal, what do u think of WWAT...i know u deal with much bigger stocks but im trading with very little so its one thats in my price range. it seemed to be pretty steady between before the stocks crashing across the board. it had a first quart of 9 mil in revenues so its making money and i figure as long as theyre making money, they wont go under. i would think if they survive this crash, when we finally recover, they should be back up to their normal which would make them a steal right now. but then again, how long will the market stay down? anyways, just wondering what u think.

I think over the counter stocks are a huge gamble. If you hit the one that takes off you can gain a lot of money. Most don't and you end up losing everything.

I never buy a stock with negative EPS and this one is -.11

I am curious about the daily volume though, almost 1 million shares which is impressive for an over the counter stock

I'd wait until it was done dropping because its trend is like most stocks right now...down. It appears to be one of the better over the counter stocks and a valid company with good leadership and they do financial statements.....

May want to check them out at the pink sheet.

http://www.pinksheets.com/pink/quote/quote.jsp?symbol=wwat

If you want a cheaper really safe stock that has huge potential and I've owned a couple of time and made money off of, buy CYBS. But again, I'd wait until this dropping was done. This market has rolled over 600+ points since last Friday. I'm not too sure its done yet. I'm thinking we are headed for new lows on the DOW. Certainly back under 12,000.

We are due for some up days. But not yet.

Regarding CYBS it is in the same group as Visa and Mastercard
(V, MA) As long as those two are going down or trading sideways, CYBS usually does not move and will continue to drop. Short Interest has picked up on it as well. Be patient.

Welcome...some hot looking solar stocks btw..

CSIQ has been smoking. They have had earnings you can only dream of.

ENER has been REALLY smoking...its made incredible gains this last month.

YGE my favorite oversold under dog. Its day is coming for a huge pop.

FSLR, SOLF, LDK, JASO, SPWR, STP, SOL, TSL, AMAT, WFR (MEMC) are the other major players in this game.

Minor league includes

CSUN, HOKU, DSTI, ESLR, ASTI, RSOL

I found an ETF as well that may be safe to get into and let your money ride.

(TAN)

My 3 buys for today are (in order)

CSIQ

SOLF

YGE

Lets see how I do :)

YGE has 9 million shares short, SOLF has 17 million, and CSIQ has 4.8 mil

When the short squeeze happens on YGE and SOLF you will know lol...they are going to POP with explosive force.
