Tornado in Oslo, Norway yesterday

This is a very rare event in Norway. It happened yesterday in Oslo, the capitol of Norway. Unfortunately I was unable to find any english article on this yet. Here's a picture instead. No one was killed but there was damage and cars were tossed around. It was filmed as well and the film was shown on the norwegian TV-news.

Pic don't show does it go all the way to ground.
If not it's just funnel cloud.

It went all the way to ground.
It was close to the Central Station and a restaurant got damaged as well as street signs, cars etc.
No injuries though, guess they were lucky (this time...).

Great photo. Hellmutt & E.T you guys live in that region of the world. Do you have any kind of warning system to deal with such storms? Here we have dopler radar that can pick up a tornado before it is even visible. We also have sirens all over town that sound when a tornado is detected or spotted.

BTW.... Welcome aboard E.T

Here in Finland those are called as "trombi"... don't ask why.
Here are some pics of those:

I think it was two months ago when one of them shredded roof from one cowshed and caused other damage in area... yep, 20th of August was day, it's was in upper limit of F2 class (70m/s)

In Norway they call them "trombe". They called this one a "skypumpe". I think it might be the same...

They got a video on this one on http://www.nrk.no/nyheter/innenriks/4198861.html
It's in norwegian unfortunately, and you got to register in order to see the video (it's free).

They don't have a warningsystem for these since they're so rare.
They could use the warning sirens used for "air-attack". The sirens works in 2 modes: "air-attack" or "listen to the radio". I don't think they were used this time as it happened so quickly without warning. These sirens will be used in case of chemical spill or similar events.
