Major snow storm the week of Christmas?
With one of the busiest travel weeks of the year here the worst possible scanario is unfolding for the Ohio Valley. Illinois, Ohio and Michigan may be looking at a major snow even for wednesday and thursday. If the models hold up the snow may eventually be measured in feet. The storm is taking the worst possible track. It is dipping down to the shoreline of Texas before making its move. This allows the storm to pull up an incredible amount of moisture before moving north. And there is plenty of very cold air moving in behind it. This may be one for the record books. Here are some model snapshots.
