Arizona took a soaking as well

Heavy rains forced evacuations and road closures Wednesday from Sedona to Kingman.

Quote From Source:
While we were spared here in Tucson, Mother Nature's wrath could certainly be felt in Northern Arizona.

At least 300 people were asked to evacuate Wednesday, after a winter storm caused water levels in Oak Creek, to rise twelve feet is less than 24 hours.

Heavy rains also took their toll on nearby RV parks and campgrounds. RV's and cars could be seen floating in the floodwaters.

Highways were closed as well. A 14-mile stretch of state road 89A which runs between Sedona and Flagstaff was closed as was a bridge in the middle of town.
