Martin Herzfeld continues to simplify solar solutions and information technology for clients. (View Original Story)
Source: renewableenergyaccess.com Posted: 01-08-2009 at 07:00:43
MARTIN HERZFELD expands services not only to continue to provide solar solutions and uniquely designed systems with modules and inverters from some of the largest solar distributors in California, but also provides antennas, instrumentation for solar energy systems including wall mounted video systems to display, support and report. For example, when a ground-mounted array is a substantial distance from the structure, besides the selection of conductors based on power loss, voltage drop and other factors, options would include various monitoring techniques including inverter direct or indirect connectivity with current transducers including instrumentation power, broadband, baseband, wireless, or satellite connectivity - personal area, local area, campus area, metropolitan area, wide area, or global area network. Typically, "monitoring" systems would not achieve reliability requirements of the balance of systems or plant equivalent to modules or inverters. In addition, uses permitted by securing and supporting methods by the electrical code for practical safeguarding would not typically achieve expected reliability to maintain service level requirements.
