Covanta Holding Corporation announced that it has entered into an agreement to purchase two biomass energy facilities from co-owners Ridgewood Maine L.L.C. and Indeck Energy Services Inc. Southridge Enterprises Inc. has announced that it is ahead of schedule in the completion of its El Salvador-based ethanol production facility. Plans for a pioneering bioenergy facility at Scotland's largest distillery, Cameronbridge in Fife, have been outlined by beverage conglomerate Diageo.
