Florida wildlife officials are considering removing alligators from a list of protected species and letting homeowners deal with nuisance gators themselves.

If current trends of overfishing and pollution continue, the populations of just about all seafood face collapse by 2050, a team of ecologists and economists warns in a study published in Friday?s issue of the journal Science.
