| WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Governor Anibal Acevedo Vilá, Governor of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, will purchase nearly 12,000 flood insurance policies for floodplain residents through an Executive Order. These policies will be good for three years, after that time policies must be maintained by the property owner to qualify for Federal disaster assistance. |
