U.S. National Science Foundation FY 2008 Budget Request to Congress and photo of sun and snow.Today, National Science Foundation (NSF) Director Arden L. Bement, Jr., proposed an investment of $6.43 billion in fiscal year (FY) 2008 for agency programs to advance frontiers of research and education in science and engineering. The request includes an increase of nearly $409 million over the FY 2007 request of $6.02 billion.
