By forming GT Solar (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., GT Solar will expand its presence in China by opening offices in Shanghai and Beijing. Future plans include warehousing in the Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone in PuDong.

Solar EnerTech Corp. has inaugurated Joint R&D Lab facilities to be operated by both Solar EnerTech and Shanghai University. The Joint Lab has three integrated research facilities located at the university's College of Science and Physics, as well as one at the College of Material Sciences, and another at Solar EnerTech's production plant at Jinqiao Technology Park.

Join SEI on for a 5-day intensive course on Utility Interactive Photovoltaics (PV). Prior to this workshop there will be a ONE-DAY workshop on the Practical Applications for Renewable Energy (March 10th).
