| WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The head of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) today announced that federal disaster aid has been made available for the state of Texas to supplement state and local recovery efforts in the area struck by severe storms and tornadoes during the period of April 21-24, 2007. |

| PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Three additional Disaster Recovery Centers will open in New Jersey Thursday to respond to the needs of residents of storm-tossed Hudson, Union and Mercer counties, FEMA officials announced today. With these new centers, FEMA will have nine Disaster Recovery Centers operating in the Garden State in the wake of April's nor'easter storm and flooding. |
