Horizon Wind Energy LLC has entered into a long-term agreement with Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) to sell wind energy from its Rattlesnake Road project through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).The project will have an installed capacity of 102.9 megawatts (MW).

Ormat Technologies Inc. announced that two of its subsidiaries have entered into a supply contract and a construction contract with Contact Energy LTD of New Zealand for the Centennial Binary Plant, a new geothermal power plant that is to be constructed in the Tauhara Geothermal Field in New Zealand. The contracts are valued at approximately US $42 million and construction of the plant is expected to be completed within the next two years.

Renewable Energy Group (REG) has received regulatory approval to complete the previously announced acquisition of a biodiesel production facility in Houston, Texas and a liquid storage terminal in California. Construction of the biodiesel facility is complete and REG has slated biodiesel production to begin on July 7.
