enXco, the U.S. subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles announced the signing of a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Southern Minnesota Municipal Power Agency (SMMPA). The 20-year agreement covers the sale of the electricity generated by the 100.5-megawatt (MW) Wapsipinicon wind farm currently being developed in Mower County, Minnesota.
