Executives from SCHOTT AG, New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson and local dignitaries have ceremonially broken ground on the company's new manufacturing facility. The site, located in the Mesa del Sol region of Albuquerque, New Mexico, will produce both photovoltaic (PV) modules and receivers for concentrated solar thermal power plants (CSP). Production is expected to begin as early as spring 2009.
