Australian Broadcasting Corporation: US President George W Bush has played down the likelihood of any breakthrough on climate change without more international cooperation. He was speaking at a media briefing in Hokkaido after talks with the Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda ahead of the G8 summit which gets underway in northern Japan on Monday.
