Dr Rajendra Pachauri is the Patron of the Congress. Dr Rajendra Pachauri - Director-General of the Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and the Chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which was awarded the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize jointly with Mr Al Gore.
