| Australian Broadcasting Corporation: ELEANOR HALL: The Prime Minister John Howard has rejected suggestions that he's out of step with the majority of Australians on the best way to tackle climate change. A Newspoll commissioned by a coalition of green groups, including Greenpeace, has found that 79 per cent of Australians want the Federal Government to sign the Kyoto Protocol and to commit to targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
