Firebreaks around Melbourne water catchments made permanent

| Australian Broadcasting Corporation: The Victorian Government has announced permanent firebreaks will be established around Melbourne's water catchments. This means the firebreak already protecting the Thompson Dam will be maintained. Acting Premier John Thwaites says in the past fire breaks have been regenerated after the fire season.
