Germany's VW, Porsche Defend Environmental Efforts

| Reuters: Germany's Volkswagen and Porsche have said they are committed to making environmentally-friendly cars, despite a report showing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions of newly-registered cars in the country fell only 0.5 percent in 2006.
