Australia: PM urged to expand renewable energy scheme

| Australian Broadcasting Corporation: The Tasmanian Government has urged the Prime Minister to expand a scheme that requires industries and retailers to meet 2% of their energy needs through renewable sources. Government backbencher Bryan Green says the Commonwealth has stymied the development of energy sources such as wind power in Tasmania, by capping the scheme.
